Our ability to provide complete follow through on a project, from design through construction, maximizes the benefits to the owner and leads to efficient, well managed, and cost saving projects. For some, a pre-exploration site review may be appropriate, particularly if the project is in early planning. A wealth of available geologic information complemented by a site visit, can go a long way to identifying many of the critical issues one needs to be aware of before going ahead on a project. Once into design, GNCB can prepare, arrange for, and monitor a subsurface exploration and laboratory program needed for a foundation engineering analysis. GNCB engineers are familiar with a wide range of subsurface conditions and foundation types and are able to develop the appropriate cost effective foundation for a project. Our dual role of structural and geotechnical engineer can be of benefit in the preparation of contract drawings and specifications in order to get the fine details and coordination of a project’s requirements into the construction documents. Follow through of construction related services provides a unique complement to our other (structural) construction administration and special inspection services.
